Think ethics is just for philosophers and intellectuals? Well you'd better think again.

Ethics is all about being human. Our individual approaches to ethics shape who we are, what we do and the world that we create through our choices. We think and act according to our ethics ALL the time – whether we’re conscious of it or not.

Our Ethics Taster will break ethics down for you, without the complex philosophical jargon. Using pop culture, TV, films and life examples as explainers, we’ll introduce you to the wonderful world of ethics.

You’ll learn about different ways of ethical thinking and how they relate to your own decision making. You’ll leave with new ways to approach sticky situations and everyday decisions. And you’ll learn to understand other people better too!

So sit back with some wine and cheese and explore a taste of ethics in the company of our resident ethicist Dr Matthew Beard.

Tickets are strictly limited.

If professional ethics is more your focus – that is, how to better live your values within your organisation or profession – please take a look at out our professional ethics workshop - Ethics at Work
