IQ2 Debate: Political correctness has failed itself
Has political correctness totally backfired? Audience opinion on the night of our first debate for 2017 was a resounding 'No'. A huge 69% of audience members on the night said that political correctness had not failed itself, and that it was needed to help contribute to a fairer, safer and more accepting society. Just 18% thought that it had backfired, and just 13% were undecided.
Thanks to those who came alone to help us kick off our 2017 program in style at our new venue, Sydney Town Hall. And extra big thanks to our speakers, Chris Kenny, Jacinta Nampijinpa Price, Tasneem Chopra and Mikey Robins for their well-argued points on the night.
