Ethics Counselling service:

Our callers

Who calls Ethi-Call?

People from all walks of life use our Ethi-Call service - academics, police, politicians, students, health professionals, teachers, farmers, postal workers, managers, government officials, board members, social workers, accountants, the media, private individuals ...

Our Ethics Counselling service is free, confidential and available to all those facing ethical dilemmas of any kind.

The good guys don't need us - the bad guys don't want us?

People have asked us "who are your callers?" - the underlying assumption being that ‘good’ people do not have ethical dilemmas.

However the reverse is true.

It is the socially responsible, deep thinking and caring person who will recognise the ethical dimensions, struggle with ethical complexity, want to do the ‘right’ thing and spend time trying to find the best resolution.

What callers say about Ethi-Call

We have many positive reports after counselling sessions. Most are confidential, however here are some that we have been given permission to repeat:

From a business development manager:

The counselling service helped me to move away from personalising problems in the workplace and focus on understanding the issues and developing a whole new way of dealing with my organisation and players involved.

From a health professional

The counselling process helped me ... most importantly, [to] identify my bottom line, my personal ethical stance. On this bottom line I was able to stand and say, 'This and no further, whatever happens'. The finding of the basic moral person in myself was a crucial part of understanding the situation, surviving it and even moving on.
