Ethics Services Coordinator
Overview:
• Diverse role coordinating the Ethics Services activities for St James Ethics Centre
• Interact with multiple stakeholders including staff, clients, educators and industry groups
• Permanent full time – flexible hours at the Ethics Centre Neutral Bay offices (relocating to CBD in 2013)
Description:
The Ethics Services Coordinator will support the Head of Ethics Services. Immediate start.
Duties:
• Stakeholder relationship coordination
- Answer inquiries, coordinate regular communications and meetings
• Event and project coordination
- Coordinate events, workshops, conferences, learning and development programs and consulting projects
• Database management
- Update and manage the stakeholder databases/CRM for key projects and services
• Digital and online resources management
- Organise and manage Ethics Services digital resources, including contributing to resource development and standardisation
• Maintain Ethics Services website content
- Administer online surveys and similar tools
• Marketing support
- Provide marketing assistance for communications, workshops and events including online and print invitations, mail outs, newsletters, stakeholder communications, quotes and proposal for services
• Administration
- Coordinate overall administrative and operational elements of Ethics Services including general team administration support, diary management, invoicing, expenses and reporting
- Maintain feedback and evaluation records for Ethics Services
• Desktop publishing
- Prepare Ethics Services proposals, communications, presentations and reports in line with the Ethics Centre style guide
• Research
- Undertake research associated with Ethics Services projects
• General Ethics Centre support
- Provide some day-to-day office support, administration and back-up for the Ethics Centre generally
Skills:
• Understanding of ethical content, gained through degree in arts, social sciences, business, economics or a related discipline
• 5+ years experience in marketing including event management, client relationship management, database management and project coordination
• Good technical skills
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) – intermediate for Excel
- Desktop publishing, web editing and management (desirable)
• Initiative, enthusiasm, good communicator (written and verbal), enjoys team approach, service oriented
• Organised, attention to detail, time management, professional
• Flexibility to work within a small not-for-profit organisation across a diverse range of projects and in a changing environment.
