What does Advocacy do?
The Ethics Centre's Advocacy service seeks to promote and encourage thought and discussion on the ethical dimension of life and how it relates to specific issues of immediate interest and concern in daily life.
We encourage active discussion amongst the widest possible audience by engaging in the following activities, amongst many others:
- Writing articles for and commenting in the media
- Holding ethics-related events, such as the successful Intelligence Squared Australia (IQ2) live debates series.
- Speaking at events run by other organisations
- Serving on Boards and Committees
- Publishing a newsletter, **Living Ethics, and other publications
- Publishing and maintaining this website
