Family responsibility and social goods
A good friend has recently inherited a very large amount of money. You are in a pretty desperate financial situation after your mother has recently been very sick and has relied on you to cover her health problems, as well forcing you to be only be able to work on a part time basis.
You know that your friend has planned to give a large sum of the money to a local charity that has already done a lot of good in your local area and you have not revealed to your friend the scope of financial situation. You are also aware that you cannot afford to go much longer in your current situation and will be soon forced to move your mother out of the rehab facility that you know will drastically improve her health.
