If you share my outrage, express it by posting a message on the St Marys Star story link as well as here.

Society not Benevolent to its staff

And if we don't share your outrage can we post that we support the Society as well?

Hahahha
If you can find a way to justify such a position, having researched the matter (e.g. on the BenSoc website) and quoting evidence, go for it. I look forward to reading informed and cogently contended views, for or against.

Perhaps Mr Dickinson's position in the Society was a humble one, and his advice should have been left for someone in a managerial role to address.
There could be many reasons for his dismissal, but whatever the reason he'd probably be much happier somewhere else.

I invite you to read the article, then research the issues raised (e.g. on bensoc.org.au), then pass further comment. My sacking was the triggering event which raised a number of associated issues, each of which constitutes a scandal.

The reasons for my dismissal were clear, as are the issues raised. Try not to personalize the issue.

In the post that started this thread, there is no mention of your personal involvement in this issue.

Based on that quote i question the ethics of not being upfront with the information. I also am highly amused by the admonition Try not to personalize the issue when it seems you have done exactly that.
