I must admit to never having understood rugby, and have long pondered its mysteries. The scrums and the writhing in the mud, the player who retired in disgrace for regularly inserting an index finger into other player's backsides.
There are occasional recreational group sex sessions.
And what are we to make of nude rugby?
Can anyone offer an insight from a rugby player's perspective on the sport? :?

Well, I was compelled to play rugby at school, since when I’ve had a powerful disdain for the game, those who play it, those who watch it and all their relatives unto the seventh degree. So I can give you the unvarnished and unbiased answer.

No. If they were capable of insight, they wouldn’t be rugby players in the first place.

I surely don’t need to spell out what all that’s about, do I? This is a family board!

Let’s just say that nude rugby is an entirely logical progression.

On behalf of everyone on the forum I'd like to say thank you for not procceding with rugby after your school years. We would all be the poorer. There's no way your mind would be the finely tuned instrument that it is today after your head had been stamped on, sat on, and otherwise mauled and abused by piles of hefty men.

Of course I'd never have the courage to say the things I said about rugby to the player's faces, I'm just a keyboard warrior, but the truth has to be spoken.

While soccer has been spoiled, I admit, by too much money and too much "acting", its wrong to label it a pansies game. Do players of the other codes really need to demonstrate to the world they're not gay every day by abusing their bodies? It gets boring. OK, we know you're not gay guys, you're big tough men, now just relax about it for goodness sake.
If a player doesn't grind on with the game after an eye gouging, broken rib or discolated joint he is not seen as a man in this shallow one dimensional definition of manhood. Unfortunately the machismo won't extend into old age because arthritis is rampant in many retired footballers.
I don't know what the WAG's see in them, personally I'd prefer a tradie, which is what I got as it turned out.
