I'm not sure what we're discussing. In the U.S. if a wife kills her husband the odds are overwhelming that he had it coming and at worst the wife will get probation. I'm opposed to both wife beating and husband murdering. But, the odds are a man who hits his wife will spend more time in jail than a wife who murders her husband.
