Perhaps it's because I don't have a television that I depend on print media.

I am 69-years old. When I was about seven, my grandfather told me you had to read both newspapers every day. Back then, cities had at least two papers. One was unabashadly liberal and the other quite conservative. In our city, the conservative paper hired only Democrats and the liberal paper hired only Republicans. They were biased and made no apologies. My grandfather explained that they both twist what they were reporting to meet their biases and that if you read both you had some chance of discovering what had really happened.

What's different now is the slimy bastards lie. They aren't unabashadly liberal or conservative. They want to pretend they're unbiased and even handed and they're simply lying. They have no shame. I put most newspapers and television networks in the same category of shameless hustlers.

Of course, I might be biased.
