An organisation should have the right to employ whoever they wish, assuming that person wishes to be employed by that organisation.

It is my belief that an organisation would be more effective plus have employees whose values that relate well to the purpose of that organisation. This makes the organisation more effective.

Job descriptions cannot define all the detailed attributes for a job and so by discriminating based upon a value system, religion or the ethical behaviour subscribed to by the applicant, the probability of selecting someone who is suitable for the job and the organisation's culture increases.
