Celebrating 20 years: Living Ethics issue 79, autumn 2010
It’s been twenty years since St James Ethics Centre was established as an independent, not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to encourage and assist individuals and organisations to include the ethical dimension in their daily lives.
In this issue we hope to provide insight into just some of the services we offer, from ethics advocacy programs to ethics counselling.
Staff, volunteers, leadership development alumni and Board members reflect on our beginnings, chart our progress to date and look forward to the next twenty years. Two Vincent Fairfax Fellows describe how our unique leadership development program has influenced their lives, while representatives from organisations that have participated in our responsible business programs discuss the challenges and rewards of bringing ethics into business and the workplace.
St James Ethics Centre continues to be a unique organisation crossing boundaries in the services it offers to an extraordinarily broad range of people. We hope you enjoy this celebratory issue.
